This U channel rubber, universal for rear quarter & back windows, is by far the best quality on the market! Perfect for hot rods and many other universal applications 

This profile is ideal for those of you wanting to keep a nice traditional appearance to your build, but wanting a U-rubber that will conform properly in tighter radius corners and also be easy to seal against the body. We use this a lot on fiberglass hot rods on the rear quarter windows of 5 Window coupes and the rear window openings. We had this profile cast a while ago, but deliberately had a higher rubber content cast into it so that it remained very pliable and didn’t look shiny and “plasticy” when installed.

We quite often have customers using this to replace the original style U-rubber on their Model A’s, etc too. The rubber flap points slightly downwards so that it applies pressure against the body, a small bead of mastic/sealant right in the corner ensures a nice water tight seal without the need for mess.

It’s width is 14mm wide at the base and the depth is 14mm to the underside of the flap. It is designed to take 5mm or 6mm thick glass comfortably.
