Custom windows – Complete Side/Rear Window set – 3W coupe etc:
Own a hot rod or street rod? Need some custom flat windows cut? This package includes your two side door windows and the back window. All we simply require is the patterns in some MDF, Masonite or similar and we can cut your glass to size for your car. All glass supplied by Glass for Classics is CNC cut and CNC edged, so you can be assured that your new glass will come back accurate to the template that you supplied. Glass 4 Classics take a lot of pride in what we do, which is why when we are producing your custom glass, we work to only /- 1mm of tolerance!
This is great for those of you who own fiberglass hot rod bodies like those supplied by Deuce Customs, C & W Components and Rod Bods etc. 1932 3W coupes or 1934 3W coupes etc. Of course we aren’t in any way restricted to those years or just fiberglass bodies! If you own a chopped steel bodied Chev, Ford, Dodge or just about anything else, we can your glass too.
This particular glass you are purchasing we produce in toughened / tempered automotive glass that meets all Australian/New Zealand and Australian Street Rod Federation requirements. (in most cases, worldwide standards too.)
This includes the following:
– 2 x side windows of any size (up to 0.5m²)
– 1 x back window of any size (up to 0.5m²)
– Your choice of colour: Clear, green or grey tint glass
– Your choice of edgework: Polished, Satin or hand finished rough arris (for unseen edges).
– Your choice of thickness: 4mm, 5mm or 6mm.
Note:
This is for flat glass only. Curved glass is NOT covered in this listing. Glass 4 Classics requires the patterns to be sent to us. That freight cost is the responsibility of the customer. Glass 4 Classics will then work out the safest and most cost effective freight option to get your new glass back to you.
For each pattern / template that is supplied, there is an additional $35 digitizing fee. This covers the time spent converting the pattern / template into a digital format ready for CNC cutting and edging. It means that we will always have a digital copy of your glass should you ever need another piece cut at some stage in the future.
All custom glass and any freight costs involved must be paid in full before work can begin on production of your glass.
Note about freight:
The glass can all be packed carefully and sent anywhere that is required. Due to all custom hot rod sets being different sizes, please contact G4C to obtain a freight cost.
